Hyundai Announces Pricing for 2018 Elantra Lineup

The 2018 Hyundai Elantra will start from $17,835 including destination.

That marks a $150 decrease compared to the 2017 Hyundai Elantra, but it’s worth noting the 2017 base model Elantra is an SE trim. The 2018 Hyundai Elantra lineup will start with the Elantra M/T model, which features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission. Those wanting the six-speed automatic transmission will have to pay $1,000 more for the Elantra SE model.

Hyundai is also introducing the new Elantra SEL model that adds rear disc brakes, hood insulator, blind spot detection with rear-cross traffic alert and lane change assist, 16-inch wheels, heated outside mirrors, auto headlight control, 3.5-inch TFT cluster display, rear cup holders, seven-inch Display Audio, rearview camera, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The 2018 Hyundai Elantra SEL is priced from $19,735.

There’s also the Elantra Value Edition with a price of $20,735. The Value Edition builds on the SEL trim, adding a power sunroof, LED daytime running lights, auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, dual automatic temperature control with auto defogging, proximity key with push button start, door handle approach lights, hands-free trunk release, heated front seats, sunvisor extensions, illuminated vanity mirrors, auto-up driver window, and front passenger seatback pocket.

The Elantra Eco model returns, with a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired to a seven-speed EcoShift dual clutch transmission. The Elantra Eco starts from $21,435.

If you’re looking for more luxury, the Elantra Limited is priced from $22,985, while those wanting the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine found in the Elantra Sport will pay $22,685 with a manual transmission or $23,785 for a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport offers 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.
