Top 10 Wildest Cars at the 2026 Detroit Auto Show
The annual Detroit Auto Show is taking place this week at Hunting Place (former Cobo Hall), and although it's not the spectacle it once was, there's still some intriguing machinery to be seen. New, old, and conceptual, the show has a little bit of everything. We scored the show floor to find 10 of the wildest vehicles displayed at this year's Detroit Auto Show. In no particular order, they're listed below.

Cadillac F1 Test Car Livery
Cadillac is entering Formula 1 this year and the manufacturer is ready to start testing the 2026 race car. Although the car on display doesn't have the official livery for season, nor is it the actual race car that will compete, it does show how the car will be painted/dressed during testing next month.
Ford Bronco RTR
Just introduced last night, the 2026 Ford Bronco RTR is the latest in a long line of special edition Broncos. Set as a step below the wild Raptor, the RTR includes great capability with somewhat wilder looks. It's easy to spot this one on the show floor with the prototypical RTR green wheel accents.
Ram 1500 DC650 (Lowered)
A collaboration between Fox Factory Vehicles and Direct Connection, the Ram 1500 DC650, or Lowered, is a street truck packing a supercharged 650 hp Hemi V8. More than just power, it has all the other goodies needed to make this a proper street truck. Think of it as a spiritial successor to the SRT-10
Audi Avant Modified
Some of the wildest cars are parked out front of the show in the hallway. Take this Audi Avant for example that is heavily modified, very purple, and includes a matching tow trailer made out of another Audi wagon. The small tow-behind comes complete with a bed for long distance travelling.
Nissan Skyle GT-R R34 Liberty Walk
While on the topic of modified vehicles, even if Detroit is known more for domestic cars, there are plenty of modified JDM legends. One such vehicle is the Nissan Skyline R34 with a Liberty Walk widebody conversion and all the wings in the world.
Pininfarina Battista
The back corner of the 2026 Detroit Auto Show features The Gallery of high-end ultra luxury vehicles and supercars. A standout here is the limited edition Pininfarina Battista that packs 1,900 horsepower and the ability to go from 0 to 60 mph in well under 2 seconds.
HOLON Urban
Looking for something completely different? Check out the HOLON Urban, an autonomous box that can seat 15 people. The driverless pod is accessible and is a combination city bus, Uber, and driverless taxi.
Ram NASCAR Truck
Ram is returning to the NASCAR Truck Series this year and the brand brought along one of the race trucks. Having another manufacturer back in the series will only help make the 2026 season more interesting.
Chevrolet Corvette CX Concept
This isn't the first time we've seen the Chevrolet Corvette CX Concept, but the car is center stage at the brand's display. Wedged between a pair of production Corvettes, it shows the potential styling direction for future versions of the famed American sports car.
Lamborghini Diablo
Finally, we're a sucker for a '90s legend and the Lamborghini Diablo still holds that aura for us. It is also located in The Gallery section at the back right corner of the show.
