BMW Concept M Neue Klasse: All The Details

BMW used this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans to pull the wraps off the M Neue Klasse Concept, offering the clearest preview yet of what will become the brand's first fully electric M3.

Like the current G80-generation M3 before it, the new EV is almost guaranteed to spark plenty of debate among enthusiasts. The difference is that this concept appears far less controversial than the car it will eventually replace. Gone are the oversized vertical grilles that dominated conversations when the G80 arrived. In their place is a cleaner, more cohesive front-end design that borrows elements from BMW's upcoming Neue Klasse sedan while adding a much more aggressive stance. The result is a performance sedan that looks purposeful without relying on shock value. While some of the concept's more dramatic styling details will likely be toned down before production, BMW seems to have struck a better balance between futuristic design and traditional M-car attitude this time around.
