2027 Toyota GR GT: All The Details
The GR GT—Gazoo Racing’s first true supercar.
This is a front-engine, rear-drive, two-seat coupe built around a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with an electric motor mounted in the rear transaxle. Toyota isn’t ready to publish full output figures, but the company says the hybrid system will deliver at least 641 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, enough to push the car toward a top speed north of 199 mph.
The core is an aluminum architecture built around four large megacastings that support the suspension and tie into the central structure. Carbon fiber still plays a major role, used for the torque tube, hood, roof, door inners, and rear bulkhead. The carbon-ceramic braking system is equally serious, with six-piston calipers up front and massive rotors tucked behind Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Pricing hasn’t been announced, but it could potentially land in the $350,000 to $400,000 window.
