These Are The 10 Coupes People Still Crave
The latest list of the most-researched coupes in America looks a lot like the previous list, but the Toyota Supra falls out of the top 10.
This list was compiled using data provided exclusively to AutoGuide via AutoFinder.com — an automotive marketplace featuring over 3 million new and used vehicle listings, connecting consumers with top dealerships nationwide to easily find and secure the best deal on a car, truck, or SUV.

10. Porsche 911
We’re not at all shocked to see the Porsche 911 on this list, but we’re at least a little surprised it fell all the way to 10th place in November. The 911 is a mainstay on this list of the most-researched coupes in America, and was in eighth spot in October.
9. Lexus LC 500
The Lexus LC 500 returns to the list in ninth place after being absent in October. Lexus’ V8-powered coupe (and convertible) won’t be around forever, but we’re grateful that it’s still in dealership showrooms for 2026.
8. Toyota GR86
The Toyota Supra didn’t make it into the top 10 this month, but its smaller sibling did. The Toyota GR86 has been around in one form or another (it originally wore a Scion badge) since 2013, and it’s joined here in the United States by the mechanically similar Subaru BRZ. Powered by a plucky four-cylinder engine powering the rear wheels, the Toyobaru twins are true throwback sports cars.
7. Mercedes-Benz AMG GT
This swoopy sports car from Mercedes-Benz is a staple on this list of the most-researched coupes in America. It competes directly against the Porsche 911 that we saw in 10th place, and does so with style. Unlike the rear-engined Porsche, the AMG GT follows a more traditional front-engine, rear-wheel-drive model.
6. BMW 2 Series
There aren’t many sporty coupes on the market these days, but BMW offers multiple options. And (spoiler alert!) we’ll see two of them on the list this month. In sixth place is the BMW 2 Series – the two-door Coupe, not the oddly named four-door Gran Coupe – which is offered in 230i, M240i and M2 forms.
5. Audi A5
There was an Audi A5 not long ago that would truly have qualified for this list. But for 2026, the only A5 that Audi sells actually has four doors. Still, here it sits in fifth place on the list, and as much as we miss traditional two-door coupes, at least the A5 is an attractively styled sedan.
4. BMW 4 Series
And now we come to the second BMW on this list of the most-researched coupes in America. The BMW 4 Series is a coupe that is basically a two-door version of the popular 3 Series sedan. It’s a traditional machine sold in 430i and M440i guise and with rear- or all-wheel drive. And, for those who want all the performance they can get, the BMW M4 is also on the market for 2026.
3. Dodge Charger
The Dodge Charger is sold in both coupe and sedan forms for 2026, and with either a gasoline-fueled inline-six engine or fully electric powertrain. The Charger is a physically large car with plenty of room inside for four adults, and its all-wheel-drive chassis makes it suitable for people living in all parts of the country.
2. Chevrolet Corvette
The Chevy Corvette is a certified classic. It was first launched for the 1953 model year with six-cylinder power. As the years went by, the Corvette morphed from stylish coupe to full-on sports car. And, in its high-end trim levels, is designed to give supercars a run for their money. And speaking of money, the Corvette is also a screaming bargain.
1. Ford Mustang
As always, the Ford Mustang scores the top spot on the list of the most-researched coupes in America. The original pony car hit the market in 1964 (the same year, incidentally, as the Porsche 911) and was an instant sensation. Unlike competitors such as the Chevrolet Camaro or Dodge Challenger, the Mustang remains in production in 2026, complete with a traditional 5.0-liter V8 engine powering the rear wheels.
