TWR V12 Supercat: All The Details
TWR has officially introduced the Supercat, a Super-GT built on the foundation of the legendary Jaguar XJS. Limited to just 88 units, the Supercat merges TWR’s motorsport legacy with cutting-edge engineering and design, creating a bespoke, high-performance vehicle.
At the heart of the Supercat is a supercharged V12 engine developed in-house by TWR, producing an impressive 660 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox, ensuring an engaging and visceral driving experience.
With carbon fiber body panels and an integrated tubular steel structure, the Supercat achieves a 9.3% weight reduction over the original XJS, tipping the scales at 1,605 kg. This, combined with double wishbone suspension, active damping, and optional carbon ceramic brakes, makes the Supercat as capable on the track as it is comfortable on long road trips.
