Toyota RAV-X Concept: All The Details
T oyota has unveiled the RAV-X concept at the 2024 SEMA Show, reimagining the RAV4 as a high-performance, off-road crossover. Created by Toyota’s Service Parts and Accessories Development (SPAD) team, the RAV-X channels the rugged spirit of Dakar Rally vehicles with substantial engineering upgrades and a design tailored for off-road prowess.
Based on the 2024 RAV4 PHEV, the RAV-X retains the model’s 302 horsepower hybrid setup and low center of gravity, ideal for off-road handling. SPAD engineers outfitted the RAV-X with custom long-travel suspension, raising the vehicle by two inches and widening its track by over six inches for stability on rough terrain. The concept rides on 17-inch forged aluminum wheels and features high-clearance skid plates, a Dakar-inspired bumper, and a high-clearance exhaust, enhancing its durability and off-road capability.
Aerodynamic elements include a rear spoiler and vents strategically placed to improve airflow. Inside, the RAV-X boasts a racing-inspired design, underscoring Toyota’s vision for a rugged crossover that blends innovation with adventure.
