This 1-of-1 Aston Martin DB12 Volante is the Ultimate Summer Car
Aston Martin Palm Beach has revealed this DB12 Volante just in time for summer. Since it's a one-of-one it is very unlikely you can buy one... but that doesn't mean we can't admire it, right?
This drop-top "super tourer" (Aston's words, not ours) was built in collaboration with the brand's Q by Aston Martin service.
As the name implies, it celebrates the Florida city with multiple nods to coastal and nautical life.
It starts with the hand-applied Frosted Glass Blue exterior paint, which includes glass flakes to simulate the shimmer of the sun on the water.
Club Sport White highlights pick out the front splitter, sills, and rear bumper, with diamond-turned five-spoke wheels rounding out the exterior.
Unique touches abound inside, including embossed coordinates for Palm Beach on the dashboard leather.
Naturally, palm trees are a major inspiration here. We see it in the door panel stitching, with a pattern reminiscent of the leaves.
It's impossible to miss the seatbacks too, with light olive ash wood book-matched (mirrored) as a nod to palm leaves as well.
Of course this is a drop-top, and it being an Aston, it's plush (eight layers!) and quick in its own way (14 seconds up, 16 seconds down).
The Spicy Red accents also show up in the seat patterns which, yes, include yet more palm leaf motifs.
If you want this Palm Beach Edition DB12 too bad—but for the right amount, we're sure Q would build another similar model...
