These 10 Coupes Get The Most Attention
The top 10 coupes people are searching for are a motley mix of American muscle cars, Japanese sports cars, and a handful of more exotic machinery from Europe.

1. Ford Mustang
April’s list of the most-researched coupes in America looks a whole lot like March’s list of the most-researched coupes in America. At the very top of the charts is the Ford Mustang, which has been the case for the past three months. No surprise that America’s favorite muscle car comes in first place on the internet, too. It's not doing the muscle car much good, as total sales are way down year-over-year.
2. Dodge Charger
The Dodge Charger is once again a coupe. It started that way in the 1960s and remained a two-door throughout the 1980s before being reimagined as a rear-wheel-drive sedan optionally offered with massive Hemi V8 engines. For 2025, the Charger coupe is electric, though gasoline-fueled versions are on the horizon.
3. BMW 2 Series
While the first two entries on our list of the most-researched coupes were in the same order in April as they were in March, the BMW 2 Series climbs one spot on the charts this month. We should point out that BMW offers two cars under the 2 Series umbrella, and only one of them has two doors. Fortunately, the 2 Series coupe is a great machine that, in M240i xDrive form, offers a sweet turbocharged inline-six engine and can scoot from 0-60 in just 4.1 seconds.
4. Toyota GR86
Landing in fourth place on our list of the most-researched coupes in America is the Toyota GR86. Though the sporty little coupe is getting along in years, it’s still a blast to drive on a tight, twisty road. As you’ll see as you keep reading, its platform-mate from Subaru is also fairly popular.
5. Mercedes-Benz AMG GT
The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT climbed from sixth place on the previous list to fifth place in April, displacing another stalwart German machine. Though it’s been on sale in pretty much the same form since 2015, it remains an extremely desirable machine a decade later.
6. Porsche 911
And now we come to the most well-known European sports car of all. The Porsche 911 has gone through eight generations and has never been better than it is today. Even if the engine is hung off the rear of the car instead of the more common front- or mid-engine formats, the 911 is a physics-defying car that excels on both the road and the racetrack.
7. Lexus LC 500
Lexus’ shapely LC 500 moved up one spot in this month’s rankings of the most-researched coupes. It’s offered in two versions, one of which is a hybrid. The other features a 5.0-liter V8 engine that makes amazing sounds as it shifts through the gears. Droptop lovers may prefer the LC 500 Convertible.
8. Subaru BRZ
The other side of the Toyobaru partnership lands in eighth spot this month. That’s a one-position drop compared to last month, and several spots lower than the Toyota GR86 with which it shares the majority of its bits and pieces.
9. Toyota GR Supra
Compared to last month, the Toyota GR Supra swaps places with the final vehicle on our list, landing it in ninth place. Toyota’s BMW-powered sports car ends its production run in 2026, and the Japanese automaker is marking the occasion with a Supra Final Edition that we saw in person at the New York Auto Show.
10. Lexus RC F
The 10th and final vehicle on our list of the most-researched coupes in America is the Lexus RC F. Like the Supra that preceded it, the RC is also on its way to the great garage in the sky. The RC F, like the LC 500, is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine that we’re going to miss once it’s finally out of production.
