The Best Chryslers of All-Time
This year Chrysler is celebrating 100 years in the business of manufacturing automobiles. With a big milestone like that, we thought we would look back on the best Chrysler vehicles of all-time. Our list may skew more to the latter half of the brand's existence, but we've tried to include all the notable vehicles made along the way.
1934 Chrysler Airflow
One of the most iconic designs ever, the 1934 Chrysler Airflow featured aerodynamic styling long before most manufacturers cared about such things.
1960 Chrysler 300 F
Arguably, and trust us, it's quite a debate, the best of the letter cars was the 1960 Chrysler 300 F.
1987 Chrysler Conquest
In the 1980s, Chrysler needed a sports car and looked to an alliance with Mitsubishi. The solution was the Chrysler Conquest, a close sibling to the Mitsubishi Starion.
2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser
When the world was obsessed with retro-inspired vehicles, Chrysler cashed in with the wildly popular (for a short time) PT Cruiser.
2007 Chrysler Crossfire
Like the Conquest listed above, the Crossfire was another badge engineered sports car for Chrysler. This one was based on the Mercedes-Benz SLK, but featured far different looking sheetmetal.
1994 Chrysler LHS
Cab Forward ushered in a new era for Chrysler in the 1990s. It gave cars more interior space within the same footprint, and radically modernized the brand's lineup.
1986 Chrysler Laser XT
The Laser was another badge engineered offering from Chrysler, sharing many parts with the Dodge Daytona. The XT featured a turbocharged engine for more performance.
1976 Chrysler Cordoba
In an era of massive personal luxury coupes, Chrysler offered the Cordoba, of course with rich corinthian leather.
1986 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country Convertible
In the 1980s and late 1990s, the LeBaron was a wildly popular premium vehicle that could even come as a convertible.
1987 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible
The 1987 LeBaron featured much more modern styling compared to the car it replaced.
1999 Chrysler 300
Although they were front-wheel drive based, Chrysler revived the 300 nameplate in the late 1990s. The 300M was a premium, sporty large sedan for its time.
2006 Chrysler 300C SRT8
Chrysler once again revived the 300 nameplate in the mid 2000s, this time on a rear-wheel drive platform with retro-inspired styling. Top dog was this car, the 300C SRT8 with a 425 hp 6.1-liter V8.
1941 Chrysler Newport
Chrysler continued making sleek, aerodynamic vehicles like the airflow in the 1940s. This 1941 Newport is a perfect example.
2001 Chrysler Prowler
With the demise of the Plymouth brand, the wild Prowler roadster needed a home, and was rebadged as the Chrysler Prowler.
1963 Chrysler Turbine Car
Perhaps the most famous Chrysler amongst car fanatics, the turbine car used just that, a turbine for power. Although power was low, torque was quite high.
1948 Chrysler Town & Country
Chrysler has a long history of producing, premium, convertible cruisers and that includes this woody, the 1948 Town & Country.
1990 Chrysler Town & Country
We can't a have list involving Mopar brands without mentioning the minivan. Creating a segment with the original Voyager, the Town & Country showed there was a market for a premium small van as well.
