Ford Custom Garage Packages: All The Details
Ford is introducing the Ford Custom Garage, a new initiative offering factory-backed, dealer-installed upgrade packages for vehicles like the Bronco and F-150. These packages, which come with a full warranty when installed by an authorized dealer, simplify the customization process by bundling enhancements under a single part number.
The program debuts with two packages for the Ford Bronco: Matte Black and Sinister Bronze. Each package includes:
- Ford Performance Parts Off-Road 2-inch Lift Suspension Kit: Enhances ground clearance and off-road capability.
- Ford Performance Parts Calibration Tool: Optimizes engine performance to complement the suspension upgrade.
- Five 17 x 8.5-inch Custom Wheels with Black Lug Nuts: Provides a distinctive look and improved durability.
- Special Grille Letter Caps, Badges, and Smoked Ford Oval: Adds unique styling elements to the vehicle's front end.
- Extended Fender Flares: Offers additional tire coverage and a more aggressive stance.
- Updated Spare Tire Carrier: Accommodates larger spare tires resulting from the wheel upgrade.
There's also the Wild Fund concept projects which could preview future Custom Garage packages for the Bronco and Bronco Sport. The highlight of the Custom Garage Program is the FP700S, a supercharged V8 F-150 making 700 horsepower and 580 ft-lbs of torque.
