Based on the standard EX30, the Cross Country variant follows Volvo’s familiar CC formula with subtle upgrades for mild off-road use.

The 2025 EX30 Cross Country comes with standard all-wheel drive, a lifted suspension, and all-terrain tires.

Volvo stopped short of calling it a true off-roader—instead, it's positioned as a vehicle for “weekend explorers.”

Black cladding, new skid plates, and exclusive 18-inch wheels give it a tougher look, while its ride height increases by 0.7 inches.

The rear suspension has been retuned with softer spring and damper settings to better handle uneven terrain.

The EX30 CC uses the same 69-kilowatt-hour battery pack as the standard EX30, with a usable capacity of 64 kWh.

Dual electric motors deliver 422 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, and the vehicle supports DC fast charging, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in 26 minutes.

Volvo claims a WLTP range of 265 miles, though EPA estimates have yet to be announced.

Given that the standard all-wheel-drive EX30 has an EPA rating of 253 miles, the Cross Country's range may be slightly lower due to the added weight and all-terrain tires.
