2026 Subaru Trailseeker: All The Details
Subaru has revealed its second battery-electric model, the 2026 Trailseeker at the New York International Auto Show. The all-electric Trailseeker builds on Subaru’s signature attributes with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and 8.3 inches of ground clearance.

Built with dual electric motors, the Trailseeker is designed for strong on-road and off-road performance, with an estimated 0–60 mph time of 4.3 seconds.
Like the updated Solterra, it supports DC fast charging up to 150 kW and includes a standard North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, enabling access to Tesla’s Supercharger network.
The Trailseeker offers up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity, positioning it as a more utility-focused option compared to the Solterra. It also features a larger cargo area, giving owners more rear storage space and an available 120V outlet for powering gear or tools on the go.
Subaru has not yet announced full specifications or pricing, but the Trailseeker is expected to arrive in dealerships following the launch of the 2026 Solterra.
