2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5: All The Details
The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a milestone vehicle, as it becomes the first Hyundai model to be manufactured at the company’s new Metaplant in Georgia. This shift in production has a significant impact, as it qualifies the Ioniq 5 for a $3,750 federal EV tax credit on purchases, in addition to the full $7,500 credit available for leases.
The 2025 model year brings several updates to the Ioniq 5. Among the highlights is the adoption of the North American Charging Standard (NACS), allowing access to Tesla’s Supercharger network, a feature aimed at improving the convenience of charging.
The new model also features enhanced battery capacity, with standard-range versions now equipped with a 63.0 kWh battery and long-range trims boasting an 84.0 kWh battery. These upgrades contribute to improved driving range and greater usability. Additionally, refreshed styling updates the front and rear bumpers, giving the Ioniq 5 a sharper and more distinctive look.
