The interaction between this airflow and the diffuser’s outer strake helps disrupt vortices generated at the wheel-road contact zone, preventing unwanted air from entering the diffuser prematurely. As a result, the diffuser alone generates 285 kg of downforce, accounting for more than 50% of the total rear axle downforce, contributing significantly to the car's aerodynamic efficiency.
