2025 Acura ADX First Drive: All The Details
Acura is filling the long-vacant entry-level compact SUV slot in its lineup with the all-new ADX. Positioned below the RDX, the ADX offers a straightforward three-trim lineup with a single powertrain, making it easy for buyers to choose their preferred configuration. In the U.S., both front- and all-wheel drive are available across all trims, with AWD adding $2,000 to the price. Canadian buyers, however, will only get the AWD variant.
Under the hood, the ADX is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, a familiar engine shared with other Acura and Honda models. This tried-and-true powertrain should appeal to buyers looking for reliability and proven performance. The ADX also takes cues from existing Acura models in styling and packaging, reinforcing a sense of familiarity within the brand’s SUV lineup. Unlike the all-electric ZDX, the ADX sticks with a traditional gasoline engine, ensuring Acura still has an option for buyers not ready to make the switch to electrification.
