Happy 25th Birthday Audi RS4 Avant
Audi helped redefine what a wagon could be in the 1990s with cult models like the Audi Avant RS2 and Audi S6 plus. Then, in 1999 Audi Sport unveiled the B5-generation RS4 Avant. It offered 375 hp from a 2.7-liter biturbo six-cylinder engine developed with Cosworth. Two years later the RS4 Sport was launched with a lowered suspension, bucket seats, sport exhaust, and suede steering wheel.
The RS4 Avant 25 retraces this path as the sportiest most hardcore version of the current B9 series. Available in Imola Yellow, Nardo Grey, or Mythos Black, just 250 cars will be made.
